KivoTranslator-AI Custom ("Kivo", "we", "us") is an AI translation app that translates text, images, camera captures, and voice, with customizable tone, mood, and scenario, and your choice of AI model (DeepSeek, ChatGPT, or Gemini). For any privacy question, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to deliver translation features:

Translation inputs. The text you type, photos you select, camera frames you point at, and voice you record are processed to generate a translation.

AI model choice. Which engine (DeepSeek, ChatGPT, or Gemini) you select for a translation.

Customization settings. Your chosen tone, mood, and scenario preferences.

Purchase records. If you subscribe to Kivo Pro, the app store (Apple App Store) processes payment. We receive only limited, non-sensitive confirmation (e.g., subscription status) to unlock features — we do not collect or store your card details.

Essential app data (minimal). Crash logs and basic, non-identifying usage analytics, used only to fix issues and improve stability.

We do not require an account to use core translation. Where an account exists (e.g., to restore purchases), we store only the minimum needed.

3. How We Use Your Information

To perform translations using your selected AI model.

To apply your tone, mood, and scenario customization.

To manage your subscription and restore purchases.

To diagnose crashes and improve app stability.

4. Third-Party AI Providers

To translate, your inputs are sent to the AI provider you choose:

Each provider processes your content under its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them before use.

5. Data Retention

Translation content (text, images, audio) is used only to deliver your result and is not retained on our servers after the request completes. Any translation history is stored only locally on your device at your choice and can be cleared by you at any time. Subscription status is retained only while your plan is active. Analytics are deleted or anonymized after a limited period.

6. Data Security

We use standard technical measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your data. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Your Rights
